A house for a family. The desire for a bright, informal environment led to a radical simplification of the house plan. Space is divided in four areas: living room, night area, kitchen and dining room, service facilities. The imaginary line joining the two public areas (kitchen and living room) is interrupted only by a carved and pierced door decorated with a drawing by the artist Lorenzo Manenti. Another identical carved door leads to the night area. The doors – even when closed – create a dormant epiphany of light and free movement.
